Practical Information to Prepare for Your Hot Air Balloon Flight
The evening before your flight, we will send you the final details and confirm the meeting time (we are always reachable via WhatsApp, email, or phone).
Flights take place early in the morning, just before sunrise, as this is when the conditions are optimal for the activity — with the added bonus of stunning landscapes!
A 4×4 will pick you up from your hotel/riad at dawn for approximately four hours of unforgettable adventure. Our launch site is located about 20 kilometers north of the Palmeraie of Marrakech in a picturesque village.
The flight itself lasts about an hour. However, the entire adventure takes around three to four hours, including the delightful Berber breakfast under a traditional tent.

Fear of heights requires a connection between the ground and where you are (like the Eiffel Tower, a ladder, or a chair). Since no such connection exists in a hot air balloon, you won’t feel vertigo.
Yes, children can join the flight, but they must be at least 6 years old to ensure their safety and comfort. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Restrictions
- Minimum age 16. Children under 18 must have parental consent, via a certified signature on our Skydive Spain registration form and the physical fitness form, OR the parent must show up on the day of the jump and sign the forms in person, presenting a supporting ID.
- If you are 70 years of age or older, you will need to have a Skydive Spain medical form signed and stamped by your doctor. Without this form, you will not be able to jump.
- Please request the relevant form.
- The weight limit with clothes and shoes is 95 kg (15 stone or 209 lbs); each jumper will be weighed at check-in on the day of the jump. Weight must be measured with clothes and shoes. Please note that we also take BMI into consideration, which must be less than 27.5.
- People with varying levels of disabilities can participate in the tandem jump; However, you must know all the details before booking and sign a declaration of suitability form at the DZ office on the day of the launch.
- The instructor is duly licensed, and this license includes third-party liability insurance that covers him/her and his/her passenger in the event of negligence.
